Clove cigarettes

Talk at Stonehenge parking lot smoking area turned to the subject of Clove cigarettes this week. The FDA had activated its ban on them.
Many LSC smokers preferred regular cigarettes over Clove cigarettes so this ban has not affected them. But many LSC smokers are now considering Electronic cigarettes. These give the same amount of nicotine as regular cigarettes and even provide flavor, just like the now banned Clove cigarettes.
“I’m sad to see Clove cigarettes go, but I think in the long run I will save money by buying the electric cigarettes.” Said a smoker. Electric cigarettes can be found for about eighty dollars each, and require two lithium-ion batteries to work. Smokers save money because they do not have to keep buying new packs every time they want more. Instead they can charge the battery every night and smoke whenever they want the next day.
“I would be glad if more, people started using these instead of regular cigarettes.” One non-smoker said, “At least then I would be able to stand being around them.”
These cigarettes do not give off any second hand smoke when they are being used, making them appear to be healthier than normal cigarettes. But the exact health risks of these cigarettes are still unknown because the FDA has not tested them yet. But they are still legal to own.
LSC smokers could be seeing a change fairly soon in their smoking habits if these electric cigarettes catch on. They are similar to clove cigarettes by providing flavor, but also healthier and cheaper than them.
